Our upcoming EP is currently in the production plant in its final stage. So we will get the CDs very soon, in 2 or 3 weeks *excited* :-) Meanwhile we would like to give you a little preview of what we have been working on the last months and what you can expect from our release party on 23rd April. We have been looking for a frontman/singer for the last few months while reworking some of our songs. There have been several people who were interested in that role, yet it didn’t really match – until we met Elena:
Rocker, adventurist, songwriter, composer, and a smiley person, Elena is installed in Luxembourg since very recently. Originate of Macedonia, Elena left her native country in 2001, to evolve in new horizons (i.e. more democratic and liberal), thus, from Switzerland (Lausanne), through France (Besançon, and then Paris), she landed in Luxembourg nowadays. She got a Journalist university diploma in Macedonia and studied European Business Law in France, in IT / IP field. Today, Elena is working as a legal counsel for a private Luxembourgish company specialized in the media audiovisual sector.
Ever since she’s a child, Elena sings, writes and composes songs, in parallel of her main activity. She’s 35, and has several achievements behind her, such as: songs released in Macedonia (among which the most successful “Dlaboka Bolka”), albums released independently in France (among which “Janis”), performing the main character in a fantastic rock comedy called “Le Cadeau”, etc.
Elena’s creativity is still and always at Rendezvous. We are very happy to welcome her to our world and work with her on our songs and compose some new ones.
Be prepared for the “new” Strysles :-)
To bring our ideas forward, we are currently looking for a rock singer / frontman.
Do you have a good rock voice and sing in tune? Do you have time to rehearse once a week? Are you creative and dynamic and not afraid to be on stage?
We are looking for a male singer, but if you are female and think you have a good rock voice, you may apply too.

It’s been some time ago, some of us were busy the last weeks and months, either to take some time off – or as Dave, our guitar player, who gets used to his role as a dad :-) Congrats!
But we have a little something for ya ;-) Here you go: We have planned a gig before the summer holidays. So you can see us rocking together on stage next Saturday, 21st June 2014 at “Schëfflenger Fest” in Schifflange. There will also be some other concerts and animation for kids. www.schifflange.lu

This week is filled with music. \m/ There are a few things coming up :-)
First: This Wednesday, 26th February we will be at Radio LRB to talk a bit about our music and projects. So if you want, just tune in at 20 o’clock. There is also a stream at their website. Check it out.
Then, this Friday, 28th February, we’ll hit Oscars Bar at Grund. It’s just opposite the well known Scott’s Pub. The gig will start at 22.30.
And then, to top it off, we will play a gig at one of our favourite cafés, Café Why Not in “Dudetown” Dudelange, this Saturday, 1st March. However we asked another great band to join us for that evening. That band is Greystation. I think you will hear more of them in the future. Check them out.
Ok folks, this Saturday we’re gonna set Plain Vanilla Café at Kockelscheuer on fire together with our friends from Mindless Anger :-)
